Dallas Tree Lighting and Surprise moved to Sunday November 23 from 3p-8p

The Dallas Christmas Tree Lighting at the Main Street Garden Park is rescheduled from tonight to tomorrow night, due to rain.
This promises to be an amazingly beautiful lighting ceremony, filled with music and a major announcement. With more than five million square feet of downtown Dallas in various stages of redevelopment, the Central Business District (CBD) is about to explode with new energy and progress.
After sitting empty for over 20 years, holding a history including The Rat Pack, Sinatra, Aretha, Elvis, and more, The Statler Hilton redevelopment project is the cornerstone and “cherry” piece of the overall plan. With its 786K square feet of vibrant and eclectic history, the magic about this entire project promises Dallas more than it dreamed possible. So, what is the surprise? You will have to show up to find out… or chase it down in the news, thereafter. I will say that this announcement is only 1 of many great things to come from this project. Mehrdad Mouyedi and his team are merging an enchanting past with modern energy and style, brought through strategic wins in partnerships, tenancy and title. What does that all mean? The Statler Hilton promises to be the hottest place in the City, if not North Texas!
