Mo Williams Hosts Back to School Basketball Clinic Saturday August 29th
Thirteen year NBA Veteran Mo Williams will be conducting his 1st Annual Back 2 School Basketball Skills Camp, Saturday August 29, 2015 at his training facility located in the Regal Row business area. The camp duration is one day, from 9am to 6pm and will be overseen by the returning Cleveland Cavalier himself and his training staff including his personal trainer, Djamel Jackson.
At the Mo Williams Back 2 School Camp, participants will work extensively on the fundamentals of the game through repetitious training from expert trainers. The camp is designed to improve offensive skills including ball handling, passing, shooting & footwork. The defensive skills that will be worked on are stance, positioning, footwork and spacing.
“These same fundamental breakdowns are the very ones I worked on everyday that made me into a pro. I want to share my knowledge and my work ethic with your kids,” says Williams.
Mo Williams Academy was established as a premiere destination and resource for elite student-athletes to enhance their athletic skill development. The programs at MWA aim to balance athletic and personal development, focusing on developing the ability to set realistic but challenging individual goals, self-discipline, a commitment to personal success, respect and appreciation for others, and good sportsmanship.
