The Dallas Convention Center was buzzing with celebrities in attendance of the 1st Annual International Faith and Family Film Festival during megafest 2013. The headliner was Winnie Mandela starring Jennifer Hudson and Terrance Howard. Making an appearance on the red carpet was Holly Robinson Peete, who is receiving an award for her outstanding philanthropy work for the cause of autism, along with director, writer, producer and actor Robert Townsend.

The headliner to appear on the red carpet was non other than the Oscar winner, Grammy winner Jennifer Hudson. Jennifer says that with her portrayal of Winnie Mandela she wants the audience to really get a sense of who Winnie was as a whole person and not just the wife of a political revolutionary.
