Dallas Stars Announce Opening Night Roster for 2015-2016 Season
Former Dallas Stars forward Mike Modano and current forward Jamie Benn model the Stars new uniforms.
FRISCO, Texas – Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today the team’s roster for opening night, which consists of 23 players: 13 forwards, eight defensemen and two goaltenders. Additionally, the club has placed forward Brett Ritchie and goaltender Jack Campbell on injured non-roster.
For the fifth-straight season the Stars will open the regular season at American Airlines Center as the team drops the puck on the 2015-16 campaign on Thursday, Oct. 8 against the Pittsburgh Penguins at 7:30 pm.
