DE-J Recaps First Ever Forgiato Fest

Every year the Dallas entertainment scene gets bigger and bigger, and celebrity host Lips of Ebony Jae’ with Dallas Entertainment Journal always looks forward to bringing you nothing less than the best. Yes, it was the first time the Forgiato Fest Car show and concert was held in Dallas,TX. We have all the details!

Forgiato is a luxury wheel manufacturing company. The Forgiato brand has stayed endlessly committed to pushing the envelope of excellence and innovation in the ever changing aftermarket wheel industry. From steering wheels, grilles, customs rims and custom made Forgiato tires the designs, cuts and spins are different from anything your eyes will ever see.

Forgiato’s newest wheel is the “Espoto” I personally love the all-white. Forgiato wheels have been branded on the most luxurious cars such as: Lamborghini, Ferrari, old schools, and plenty of Chevy’s. Forgiatos latest spotting has been in Def Jam recording artist August Alisina’s “No love” video featuring Nicki Minaj. She was driving an all-red Ferrari with custom made all-black Forgiato wheels and rims.

Forgiato didn’t stop at just giving Dallas a car show, no. Some of the greatest artists came to the city and put on one heck of a concert. Maybach Music Group’s Stalley performed one of his hits “Jackin’ Chevys,”  and his fans went crazy. His stage presence was solid. He interacted with the audience encouraging them to enjoy the car show because Stalley is a huge fan of collecting old school and luxury cars himself.  Stalley is not your same “Honest Cowboy.” His character has evolved and we can’t wait to see what “OHIO” brings us October 27.

Legendary Slim Thugga hit the stage and all you saw was, lights, camera, and action. Every fan had their cell phones out recording and taking pics of the “Boss Hogg” himself. Performing hits “Like A Boss,“ “Wood Grain Wheel,” and “Thug” Texan fans went crazy. He even showed appreciation to his fans for representing “Boss Hogg outlawz.” It’s evident Slim Thug is still living the Boss Life and we are loving it.

The hip hop duo composed of 2 brothers, Swae Lee Khalif and Slim Jimmy, hit the stage next. They are known to fans as Rae Sremmurd, which is ear drums spelled backwards. When they performed their hit single “No Flex Zone” The Duo invited over 15 fans to Rock the stage out with them. It was crazy.  The energy was breath taking.  Their latest hit “No type” left the fans wanting more. No one wanted it to end.  The duo has put a new twist in hip hop and there is no doubt “Mike Will made it.” We look forward to much success in the future for Rae Sremmurd.

In ending the Dallas stop of the Forgiato Fest car show and concert, it was only fit to let Currensy kill it.  That’s exactly what he did. Currensy, known to some as “Spitta,” has become the trendsetter in the rap game for releasing two albums in the same year. He has released relentless amounts of mixtapes and albums. Currensy performed hits from his latest mixtape New Jet City. It’s no secret he has built Jet Life to be one of the most epic brands in the game and has the most dedicated fan base. Currensy surprised the fans performing “Address” from his anticipated Pilot Talk album as he brought MMG’s Stalley on stage. It was an epic performance.

The Forgiato Fest car show and concert was a huge success and mind blowing. Stay linked to the Dallas Entertainment Journal to see who and when the Forgiato Fest will bring to Dallas on tour next year. Follow them on instagram (@forgiato) to keep up with the latest wheels for your whips.
