Free Jazz Thursdays

From vocalists, to saxophonists, pianists, to trumpeter, the Dallas Museum of Art showcases a variety of jazz music artists who perform Thursdays from 6:00-8:00pm in the Atrium. Enjoy a drink or dinner as you relax to the music or just take it all in for free.

For the rest of this month, performers will be celebrating artist Art Smith (who is currently exhibited in the Dallas Museum) by performing works from artists who Smith was inspirited by. Today, vocalist Mahogany The Artist aka Candice Miller and her band perform songs from Lena Horne, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, and Nina Simone. Next week saxophonist Shelley Carrol will perform songs from Duke Ellington.
