Some people might start their weekend on Friday. I get it, you have no work in the AM, you can certainly party all night without the worries of oversleeping; however the truth remains you STILL have to work on Friday so lets just skip that day and focus on Saturday and Sunday.
SATURDAY: 2014 DRESS DALLAS 2nd Annual Fashion show By American Idol Finalist Vincent Powell
LOCATION: Clay Cooley Chevrolet 1251 E Airport Fwy, Irving, TX 75062
Time: 7pm-10pm
For those of you guys familiar with American Idol then your in for a sweet surprise. This Saturday American Idol finalist Vincent Powell is throwing his 2nd Annual Dress Dallas Fashion Show. Don’t make the mistake of thinking he’s doing it on his own he is bringing along some of his American Idol friends as well as friends from the hit tv show The Voice. It will be hosted by Sean John model Lamar James and Vincent will also be gracing the stage to put on a performance of a lifetime. For those fashionistas out there the fashion show will have garments from popular boutiques such as the Willa Boutique, Rouge Boutique, Wolfton Wear and Willie Ntim. SUNDAY: MODERN DAY ART AND MUSIC FESTIVAL

Time: 5pm-12am
Now anything that mentions festival just rings a good time. If your into the art scene then you must check out this event not only is it being hosted by up and coming music producer Eddie V its held in one of the most beautiful art galleries in Deep Ellum. Capital L is no stranger to fashion shows. From what I hear there will be tons of fashion and great music but let me not forget to mention that ANYONE OVER 21 YEARS OF AGE will get FREE DRINKS. Yes, You read it correct no need to get the glasses out though you might need them after attending this event. I don’t know if there is a drink limit per guest but hey great music, art and fashion who would complain.
