Louie Loves Extends Hand to Alzheimer’s Association of Dallas-Fort Worth

 

Neighborhood Bar in Arlington Highlands to Host Early Check-in on Oct. 4 for Annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s Featuring Food and Drink Specials, Live Music and More 

 

20 Percent of Proceeds on Night of Oct. 4 from the Seven Bar Louie Locations in Dallas-Fort Worth to be Donated to Alzheimer’s Association

 

WHAT:              As part of its Louie Loves program, all seven Bar Louie locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area will donate 20 percent of proceeds from the night of Thursday, Oct. 4 to the Alzheimer’s Association, whose mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through research, while supporting those affected with the disease and promoting brain health.

 

The award-winning collection of neighborhood bars is also teaming up with the Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Arlington, Texas to host an early bird check-in at Bar Louie Arlington Highlands on the evening of Thursday, Oct. 4. Event participants will have the opportunity to skip the walk’s lines on Saturday, Oct. 6 by checking in early. All attendees will receive a Promise Garden wristband as well as an official Walk to End Alzheimer’s T-shirt for those who have raised $100 or more. Guests who attend the Bar Louie event will enjoy food and drink specials while listening to live music from the band, Skinny Blue.

 

The 2018 Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Arlington, Texas occurs on Saturday, Oct. 6 with registration at 8:00 a.m., a ceremony at 9:00 a.m. and a walk at 9:30 a.m. The walk begins at TCC Southeast Campus, 2100 Southeast Parkway, Arlington, Texas. For more information, visit the event site, online.

 

LOUIE LOVES:   Louie Loves is Bar Louie’s decade-long fundraising program tailored to specific bar locations and their surrounding communities. Past initiatives have included fundraising for the American Red Cross to aid in hurricane relief and donating hundreds of meals to Trinity Habitat for Humanity during a volunteer home-building effort.
