Music For Everyone-

This Saturday Music fans get two artist form opposite ends of the musical spectrum turn up for Head banging hip hop as Yela Wolf headlines Tree’s in Deep Ellum. Then a few miles north Check out Matisyahu at the House of Blues. Known for his hasidic faith and reggae vibes Matisyahu was the one to watch in the mid 200’s and is shaping up to make a big come back.

Brunch Brunch Brunchy Brunch- I know you were expecting a more clever headline but I’m far too focused on mimosas right now to think straight. It’s officially fall and finally feels like it take advantage and try a spiked hot chocolate at your next brunch spot. My favorite would be Oddfellows in Oak Cliff and the Legendary Chicken and Waffles at Max’s Wine and Dive in uptown.

Kids Time –

Once you get your little hellions off there sugar high why not take them out to a great exhibit that will teach them the value of math and make school a little more interesting. Check out the Perot Museum of Nature and Science at Victory Park, 2201 N. Field St. Dallas,TX 75201. Now through January 4th you can visit this exhibit. Sunday’s you can pop in from 12-5pm $15 for kids $21 for adults. Perotmuseum.org.

The exhibition brings to life the real math behind what kids love most: video games, sports, fashion, music and robotics. Through nearly 40 unique, interactive experiences, the bilingual exhibition takes math from its native form into the applied worlds of design, engineering, technology and science.”
